Start your day or take a well-earned break at our friendly Community Café, open Monday to Saturday from 8am – 2pm.

Located just inside the doors of St. Munchin’s Community Centre, our café is a welcoming place where neighbours catch up over coffee, local workers enjoy a decent breakfast or lunch, and everyone is made to feel at home.

Our dedicated local team takes pride in preparing fresh, tasty breakfasts, homemade lunches, salads, sandwiches, sweet treats and great coffee, all at affordable prices. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or staying to relax with friends, you’ll always be welcomed with a smile.

A Quiet Corner: Our Dedicated Over 55s Space

We love the lively, bustling energy of our main café, but we also know that a busy room can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming or noisy. To make sure everyone feels completely at ease, we have created a smaller, quieter dedicated area specifically for our Over 55s.

Whether you want to enjoy your tea in peace, read the morning paper, or have a relaxed catch-up with friends away from the main rush, this cozy space is always here for you.

Our Training Café

Behind the scenes, our kitchen and café floor serve as a vital training ground.

Through the Community Employment (CE) Scheme, we provide hands-on, professional hospitality training for local people seeking to return to the workforce.

Our trainees don’t just learn by doing; they are mentored directly by our fully qualified, professional chef and hospitality staff. Under their expert guidance, trainees master everything from commercial kitchen operations and strict food safety standards (HACCP) to professional customer service.

This ensures our trainees gain the certified real-world skills, confidence, and qualifications needed to step straight into long-term careers in the industry.
